Shoreline Entertainment has put up completion coin for Spain’s first 3D stop- motion pic, “O Apostolo.”

Pic’s lead producer is Galicia-based Artefacto Prods. Rosalia Mera’s Rosp Coruna co-produces alongside Polygon Entertainment, which is handling post-production.

“When we first were brought the project for help to obtain the bridging loan for post production, we immediately thought it would be a perfect fit for Shoreline,” Shoreline topper Morris Ruskin told Daily Variety. “The 3D visual aspect of this film will delight audiences everywhere.”

“Apostolo” was screened as a work in progress to its finance partners and sponsors in July. “Apostolo” has tied down musician-composer Philip Glass for the soundtrack, puppet director John George Craney (“The Lord of the Rings”), VFX supervisor Collin Miller (“Coraline”) and stereoscopic supervisor Tim Taylor (“Con Air”).
