This month on SMW we would like to shine the spotlight on one of our favorite stop motion creators, Kyle Roberts who has brought us the amazing stop motion battle between Batman and the Iron Man and also the dancing styles of Wall-E Meets Micheal Jackson!
Kyle Roberts has proven himself with amazing talent and creativity. Now in SMW we are extremly proud to anounce his new upcoming project "The Battle Of The Bonds."
We came across Kyle when we were looking for great videos to be posted on our blog so we are excited to see what he has in store for us next. He didn't want to give away too much but there will be over 20 12" figures in this short film over 10 limited edition Bonds, and a one of a kind Daniel Craig head shipped from Singapore! We've also got our own Bond esque theme song produced just for this project! When ever asked about why he does his projects he says "I admit I'm a nerd.. and like to make nerdy things cool!". Well we are all glad you enjoy nerdy things for sure!
Reckless Abandonment Pictures is an independent motion picture company located out of Oklahoma City Oklahoma.
Over the past couple months Reckless Abandonment Pictures has been very successful with thier shorts... with mentions from LA Times, USA Today, Gizmodo, WIRED Magazine, GeekBeat.tv. Thier most talked about stop motion short Iron Man VS Batman was even a featured video on YouTube.
The next big stop motion project on thier list is "Battle of the Bonds". Acording to Reckless Abandonment Pictures, MGM dropped the ball on the latest Bond film, so they are determined to pick up the pieces and fill that void by making an Action Packed and Goofy Stop Motion Bond film all of thier own.
They have enlisted a couple huge YouTUBE celebes on board with this project, Daneboe, Director of Annoying Orange and Brittani Louise Taylor.
We are definitely looking forward to this stop motion short and hope all of our followers and friends of SMW share the anticipation of seeing this latest video by Reckless Abandonment Pictures and our friend Kyle Roberts. About Kyle Roberts
Kyle’s love for video production started when he was a junior in high school, spending countless hours in the editing bay. He spent the last 10 years perfecting his talents through Oklahoma Christian University Broadcasting, summer internships in California and Colorado, as well as constantly pushing his limits to new forms of visual media.
Right out of college Kyle landed an amazing job as a Videographer/Editor for NewsOK.com (the Oklahoman Online) and currently still work there covering various stories. His main beat is sports and entertainment. In 2009 Kyle started up this company “Reckless Abandonment Pictures” to focus on independent motion picture projects both short and long form.
